Ginetta has launched a new British sports car for 2008. Designated the Ginetta G50, the car has been designed in-house at LNT Automotive’s new purpose-built factory in Leeds.

A G50 single-make race Championship launched in 2008 keeps the focus on keeping running costs to a minimum by using control tyres, control fuel and low maintenance costs through clever design. Ginetta also offers a spares and support service at all official race and test events.

Supporting the British GT/F3 races, the Ginetta G50 Championship also runs alongside the G20 cars in the Texaco Havoline Ginetta Championship.

This car and its Championship is designed to bridge the gap between single-make sports car racing such as the current Ginetta G20 championship – and GT cars such as the new GT4 Championship, GT3 and GT2 racing.

Furthermore, an upgrade kit is available to take the G50 racing within the GT4 category of British GT and Britcar, plus Internationally in Belcar
