Ginetta Junior Festival

Brands hatch will host the very first Junior Festival on Saturday 28 October. This single day event is aiming to raise the profile of the Junior Racing series on offer.

Three successful junior championships will be racing at the Kent circuit as part of the Festival: Junior Ginetta Championship, which features specially race-prepared Ginetta G20 GT4. The SAXMAX series which is for race Modified Citroen saxos, and the T-Cars championship, a Ford powered saloon series.

Each of the three series will have two 15 minute races at the festival, but while they will be non-championship for the Junior Ginetta Championship and the SAXMAX, the T-Car races will count as the final two rounds of their championship.

Each series will crown a festival winner, based on the results of the days racing.

A number of high profile figures from various aspects of the world of motor sport will be attendance to offer their expertise and experience to prospective drivers.

For this very special event anyone up to the age of 18 will be admitted free-of-charge. There will also be a buffet lunch for all the teams, drivers and media representatives in attendance, while journalists will be able to experience passenger rides inside the three cars.

The Junior festival will take place the day before Race Car Live!, an interactive motor racing show  that will allow drivers and teams at various levels of British Motor sport to evaluate their racing options for the coming season. Admission to this event is free of charge to everyone.
