Joseph Shaw in 2007 Playstation Ginetta Junior Championship
For 2007 Joe will be switching from the navigators seat on HRCR Clubmans Rallies (he is not allowed to drive on such events) to the drivers seat of a Ginetta G20 GT4 Race car.

The young racer will be supporting the Richard Burns foundation throughout the year. Richard Burns who died tragically from a brain tumour at only age 34, was the Patron of The under17-carclub and its most famous former member. 14 year old Joe has been driving cars under the guidance of the club since age 12.
Richard was an outstanding personality and a world champion driver. It will be a huge honour to carry the foundations name on the car.
Fraser Jones of the Richard Burns Foundation says "The Foundation would be delighted if Joseph would carry the logo during his competitive outings this year. As you will be aware Richard was very active in helping the Under 17 car club as they helped him so much when he was a member.
We think it would be a fitting tribute to Richard if another young driver from the same club carried the logo."
In addition to the Richard Burns foundation, Joe will also be supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust. The TCT has had an association with both the Under17 Carclub, through its annual "Magic Day" charity events and more recently the Richard Burns Foundation, so its natural for Joe to use the excellent Playstation Ginetta Junior championship to help promote both these worthy organisations.
